The Mexican Navy introduced Monday it detained an alleged leader of the Zetas drug cartel who's suspected in the 2010 killing of yankee David Hartley on the lake near the U.S.-Mexico border, KDVR.com reported.

"If the gentleman, this suspect comes with participation, we want to understand where David reaches. Let us get some proof of his remains and let us like a family two years later have the ability to possess some closure," Tiffany Hartley, the victim's widow, stated from her Colorado home. "I pray that the Mexico government bodies and authorities keep him there which they question him and request him how he's associated with David."

Salvador Alfonso Martinez Escobedo was detained a week ago and given to the media Monday.

Tiffany Hartley stated she was together with her husband riding Jetskis on Falcon Lake in south Texas once they were ambushed. David Hartley was shot dead and wiped out and the wife was not able to haul his body onto her watercraft before having to flee.

Martinez, referred to as "The Squirrel," is also suspected to be behind of the 2010 massacre of 72 migrants in Tamaulipas, Mexicos Navy stated inside a statement.

The statement also stated Martinez was suspected to result in graves found using more than 200 physiques for the reason that state, "and the execution in excess of 50 people by their own hands around the country."

When requested whether she'd confidence that government bodies had arrested the guy accountable for killing her husband, she stated, "It is hard to actually feel like this will probably be the final, but at the same time we are very hopeful that it'll because we want some closure like a family."

Tiffany Hartley stated she does not believe Martinez drawn the trigger, but might have given the go-ahead to the people who did. "But that is what we are really searching for is, what's his connect to David and does he know where David's is. Does he know where the remains are? Same questions we had two years back. Where's David, and who had the participation in most this," she stated.
